The PTA runs on parent and teacher volunteers, and sponsors many great programs throughout the year, such as math and science assemblies, after-school programs, dances, and much more. Your membership fee allows us to continue offering these programs. In addition, your membership provides you with quality parent resources, including email updates to keep you informed about school and community happenings, and entitles you to money-saving discounts with companies such as Staples, AARP, eTrak, Hertz, iFocus, Metlife, Sharp, and T-Mobile.
Annual membership fees are as follows:
Individual Membership -$10
Family Membership - $15
Teachers and school staff - $8

You can also become a member by filling out our paper form! Submit it to your student's teacher with your membership fee.

We are always looking for help and support to organize projects and events. Whether it's volunteering as a grill master for a picnic, manning our book fair, or helping plan the activities around our Teacher Appreciation Week, we always need more helping hands. 10 Ways to Volunteer
1. Share your skills with the PTA or with students (e.g., fundraising, face-painting, etc.)
2. Talk to teachers, staff, and the PTA to find out how you can support Arcola
3. Share your ideas, questions, concerns with the PTA and attend general PTA meetings
4. Suggest topics for PTA meetings, workshops, events (fundraising or otherwise)
5. Volunteer at school and PTA events (e.g., Summer Social, Movie Night, Book Fair, etc.)
6. Give high-fives at the Fun Run
7. Volunteer in your child’s classroom
8. Volunteer during lunch time and recess
9. Provide financial support for PTA activities and fundraisers
10. Show appreciation for teachers and administrators every chance you get
